Beardfriends (hereinafter referred to as the “platform operator”) provides an online platform and a mobile application.
Beardfriends offers the following features:
The platform operator only provides the technical platform and has no influence on the content or services of barbershops.
Use of the platform is permitted from the age of 16.
Registration is currently free of charge for end users.
For barbershop owners, the use is free during the beta phase.
The platform operator reserves the right to introduce paid models in the future.
Users will be informed of any changes in advance via email.
Users can delete or cancel their account at any time.
Users are required to provide truthful information.
The use of a pseudonym is permitted.
Login credentials must be kept confidential.
Users agree not to publish offensive, discriminatory or unlawful content.
Uploading inappropriate or unethical content is prohibited.
In case of violations, the platform operator may remove content and suspend or delete accounts.
There is no entitlement to restore a suspended account.
Participation in the beard contest is voluntary.
Ratings are given by other registered users (likes/voting).
The winner is determined based on the highest number of votes.
The type of reward is determined by the platform operator.
There is no entitlement to cash payments or legal claim to rewards.
After registration, users receive one free digital stamp.
Additional stamps are granted via QR code scans at participating barbershops.
The conditions for stamp campaigns are defined solely by the barbershop owners.
Digital stamps are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash and are not freely tradable.
The platform operator assumes no liability for campaigns or services provided by barbershops.
Barbershop owners agree to comply with the campaigns they define.
Discounts or rewards must be granted once the defined conditions are met.
The platform operator is not a contractual party between customers and barbershops.
The platform operator is only liable for intent and gross negligence.
No liability is assumed for user content, barbershop services or technical disruptions.
The platform is provided without guarantee of continuous availability.
There is no guarantee of uninterrupted availability.
Maintenance, updates or technical issues may occur.
The platform operator reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.
Users will be informed about any changes.
If the user does not object, the changes are deemed accepted.
Users may delete their account at any time.
The platform operator may suspend or delete accounts in case of violations.
German law shall apply.
If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
